Services - Structured Cabling
 | Reli Communications provide a wide range of cabling services, the main line being in structured cabling. The basis of structured cabling is having one type of cable for all your services. The customer can 're-patch' an outlet to the relevant location, changing it's use from a network point, to telephone, to CCTV, to intruder alarm - all over the same cable. | |
| As with all good cable installers, Reli Communications are able to offer a complete installation service. We are a Fusion Datacom Authorised Installer and all our Fusion installations now carry a 25 year manufacturer backed warranty. All cables which we install and terminate will be tested with a level 3 tester - and certified to the required standard. You can be sure that the cable we install will perform to the standard you require, and if any part of the link fails - it's covered by the warranty. |

 | We ensure that we meet the specifications when we install our cable, and to make sure - our outlets are tested with Fluke DTX testers. Once we've installed your new outlets and they've been tested - you will be provided with a copy of the test certificate which shows the
specification required, and the actual measurements of the cable, for each outlet. You'll also receive a copy of the site certificate from Fusion to confirm that they have accepted the installation under the warranty scheme.
Any documentation that we produce for our clients, is made available to them via our web portal - so if you lose the certificate for an installation, or you want to check the test results - they are available for download when you need them. | |
| We can happily supply other manufacturers products, should you desire. Other cabling products that we use include ADC Krone, Excel, Nexans.
From the small job for a single outlet, up to the large office refurbishment, Reli Communications will project manage from initial conception through to handover. Being a smaller provider, we find our customers are much happier having a single point of contact for all their work. |  | |
 | We can offer a complete design, supply and installation service for the complete package. This includes everything from the cabling, to the benching, and even the computers that sit on the desks. In the photo shown on the left, we have supplied and installed a cable management system for a primary school, the benching was already in place - we have carried out the necessary cabling for the power and data. The trunking under the desk carries the cables from the wall sockets to the computer locations. | |
| Each computer has it's own cable entry through the benching, and the cables are then wrapped in spiral wrap to keep them neat and tidy. No more cables dangling under the desks, or trailed along the floor. Each PC has it's own isolation point at the wall so can be turned off at night. No '4 gang' adaptors under the desks - enough power sockets have been fitted for each PC and room for expansion - allowing for printers etc. |  | |
 | Fusion Datacom are able to supply a complete range of products so you can be sure that everything from the patch lead to the cabinet is part of the installation.
Typically we will use Marshall Tufflex trunking and conduit for all our cable containment. We will use the manufacturer supplied bends and angles wherever possible and take pride in our installations so you can be sure it will look the job. | |
